Dolcezza enters the teen years. They celebrated on July 21st, exactly 13 years after the family opened their first location in Georgetown in 2004. And having a birthday in the middle of National Ice Cream Month means slinging over 1000 push pops in a single day at the Dolcezza Pop-Up Café @ Hirshhorn.
Toli Moli launched a new summer menu and hosted their first dinner. The Union Market stall now features a tribal and travel inspired menu of savory snacks (like pickled tea leaf salad), three new falooda flavors, and a butterfly limeade that's almost too pretty to drink. They also collaborated with Pineapple DC and Sally’s Middle Name for Thamee, a multi-course family style dinner that was many diners' introduction to Burmese cooking.
Locale Workspace became our client! We've been working and hosting events in this H Street co-working space for a while now. Here's the gist: Locale fills the gap between coffee shops and corporate co-working spaces, all while focusing on community. We love working with friends, and this is no exception.
ANXO Cidery turned one and opened Porrón. The Cidery & Restaurant in Truxton Circle celebrated one year of cider fermentation, education, and collaboration on July 13th. Porrón by ANXO opened on Barracks Row with lots of neon from No Kings Collective, and is now home to Timber Pizza x Lost Sock Coffee breakfast on weekends.
Room 11 did Rickey month right. Our favorite neighborhood cocktail bar celebrated DC's official cocktail by showcasing classic variations alongside the original recipe throughout July.
